indiestudio is made by gen2apps, a one-person software studio run by Ayhan Selek. This page covers the indiestudio Mac app and this website.
The Mac app
- Your code and projects stay on your Mac. indiestudio has no server that receives your source code, your store text or your screenshots.
- Your keys stay in your Keychain. App Store Connect and Google Play keys are stored in the macOS Keychain and sent only to Apple and Google, when you ask indiestudio to talk to them.
- Coding agents run under your own accounts. When indiestudio runs a coding agent such as Claude Code, Codex CLI or Gemini CLI, that tool talks to its provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and so on) under your account, your plan and their privacy policies. We don't see that traffic.
- License checks. To check a Pro license, the app sends the license key, an activation id and your Mac's name to indiestudio.app, which asks Creem whether the license is active. Nothing else is sent.
- The app has no analytics and no crash reporting service.
This website
- No analytics scripts, no ad trackers, no cookies.
- If you join the beta, we store your email address to send you the beta, and nothing else. Ask us and we delete it.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps standard request logs.
Payments
Creem (creem.io) is our merchant of record. It handles checkout, tax and invoices, and its privacy policy covers the payment details you give it. We receive your email address, the plan and the license key.
